The Problem

The client had social media activity but no systematic way to read it — engagement metrics were tracked manually, and comment sentiment (positive, negative, mixed reactions to campaigns) was never quantified, leaving decisions about content strategy largely based on gut feel.

The Approach

I integrated with the Facebook API to automatically collect page and post metrics, replacing manual tracking. On top of the raw metrics, I ran sentiment analysis on user comments to quantify how audiences were reacting to specific posts and campaigns, turning free-text reactions into a structured signal that could be tracked over time.

Outcome

The client gained actionable, data-backed insight into what content resonated and how audience sentiment shifted with campaigns — informing social media strategy decisions that were previously made without any quantified feedback loop.
